On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Israel the Aachen Peace Prize comittee honors a Palestinian pastor and an Israeli women's human rights group. Laureate of the national award is Andreas Buro this year who is a prominent figure in the German peace movement. It was decided to give out three awards this year instead of only two. What connects all of the laureats is their commitment to create a dialogue said the chairman of the award comittee.
