Christie's is auctioning the painting in New York, USA on 13 May 2008 and it is expected to sell for over 16.2 million Euros which would make it the most expensive work sold at auction by a living artist. The current auction record for a living artist is 15.3 million Euros paid for Jeff Koons's 'Hanging Heart (Magenta/Gold)'.
